USACFA is proud to sponsor The CF Social Security Project®

What They Do

The CF Social Security Project® represents individuals with cystic fibrosis in initial applications for Social Security benefits. The CFSSP also represents individuals who are undergoing a review of eligibility by the Social Security Administration. CFSSP will continue to provide representation by experienced attorneys in  Social Security benefit applications and reviews as it has done for the past 30 years.

No referral or prior authorization is ever necessary.

Community Buzz

“As always, [USACFA] serves *all* adults with CF across all levels of functional impact. CF remains a disabling disease on many fronts even for patients who can take and benefit from CFTR protein modulator drugs. And in the present national landscape of sharply curtailed Medicaid coverage, members of our adult community need our best possible effort to protect benefit programs that support thriving in daily life and providing for families.

Disabled people should not have to choose between solvency and autonomy. Keeping the future bright for our adult patient community requires making the present sustainable financially. Stay tuned for more details as USACFA works to safeguard tomorrows for adults with CF nationwide!” - Xan Nowakowski, Ph.D., M.P.H.
